I want to share my top five “sleep hygiene” habits that can support healthier sleep. They won’t solve chronic insomnia on their own, but they are essential ingredients for better rest.
I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Season 2 of my podcast, PSYCHEDUP!
Mental illness touches us all, yet it’s still misunderstood, oversimplified, or ignored. That’s why I created PSYCHEDUP; a podcast designed to provide information about mental illnesses, clearly and concisely, while also confronting myths, pushing back against stigma and inspiring hope for those living with or supporting someone with a mental illness.
Season 1 of the Pod sparked many powerful conversations, and I’m deeply grateful to the guests who bravely shared their stories and the listeners who tuned in and spread the word. I’m also grateful to psychologist Dr. Randy Mackoff, who demonstrated his brilliance and empathy in every episode, as he explained the power of talk therapy.
Now, we’re continuing the journey with a brand new season filled with honest experiences and expert insights. And our goal remains the same: to educate, de-stigmatize and inspire.
Resilience
This episode explores how true resilience isn’t just about surviving life’s toughest moments, it’s about coming through them even stronger. Resilience not only helps us navigate challenges more effectively, it also offers protection against mental illnesses, like anxiety and depression.
Psychosis
This episode addresses a group of symptoms referred to a psychosis. Psychotic symptoms can be associated with many mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression, but they’re really understood. We highlight how compassion and science can work together to support healing.
Dementia
Dementia affects not just memory, but also an individual’s identity and every one of their relationships. Those who love and support someone living with dementia often struggle to cope with the symptoms, as well as experiencing complex, difficult emotions, like frustration and guilt, along the way. We talk about what to expect and how to cope.

Social anxiety disorder is more than just shyness- it can have a devastating impact on an individual’s functioning, leading to unmet potential and a sense of loss.
